Scarface released his third studio album, The Diary, in October 1994, featuring more polished production by legendary producers Mike Dean and N.O. Joe. The album would become a fan favourite in Scarface’s discography and would end up as one of the top-selling Rap-A-Lot releases of the 1990s, earning platinum certification within a couple of months of its release and establishing Scarface as one of the top storytelling lyricists. In celebration of Rap-A-Lot’s 40th Anniversary, Rap-A-Lot and Virgin Music Group are releasing a definitive reissue of The Diary with a never-before-released bonus track, “Ease Up Now,” only available on vinyl versions.
