London-based artist, DJ, vocalist and cultural force Josh Caff| returns with his EP The Velvet Hour – his debut project on dh2. Inspired by everyone from Prince and Grace Jones to the cinematic worlds of Gaspar No| and Yorgos Lanthimos, The Velvet Hour reflects the hazy and hedonistic atmosphere of the 4am dancefloor. Those moments of total abandon and intimacy found deep within queer club culture. Inspired by the set times Josh loves most as a DJ, the EP draws from the energy of spaces including IsBurning, Adonis, Panorama Bar and Horst Festival, capturing what he describes as “that window where you can really experiment sonically and when you’re locked in with the crowd, the connection can feel primal, seductive and playful all at once.”
