Speedgoat: The Return of True Combat Speed/Rock ‘n’ Roll. Formed in Brescia between 2020 and 2021 by Nicco Papini, Speedgoat represent one of the most incendiary and uncompromising acts on the new Italian heavy metal scene. The band offers visceral, raw, and high-octane speed metal, where the destructive attitude of early black/thrash metal blends with the streetwise groove of the wildest rock ‘n’ roll. Their sound is a direct tribute to transgenerational legends like Motorhead and Venom, contaminated by the punk-hardcore energy of acts like Zeke and the rock-solid sound of Chrome Division. The power trio combines the energy of the new generation with the experience of a veteran of the national extreme metal scene: Helgast on drums and backing vocals.
