The Primitives return following up last year’s massive hit EP ‘Don’t Know Where to Start’ with a new two song 7″ single “I Won’t Care” b/w “Everybody Needs Somebody to Hate.” American indiepop landmark label Happy Happy Birthday to Me Records is doing the honours of pressing this single up and getting it out into the world. The sleeve is a three colour screen-printed fold-over sleeve and the vinyl comes with a download card. The artwork and colour combo is a nod to the band’s third single “Stop Killing Me” from 1987. “I Won’t Care ” is a perfect slice of dreamy indiepop goodness with an effortless Tracy vocal and a guitar hook that will get stuck in your head for days. “Everybody Needs Somebody to Hate ” is an acoustic track with Paul taking the vocal. Limited to a one time pressing so don’t miss out.
