Because dance, too, belongs to the night. “Our journey together is also enriched by some special companions: Lorenz Raab and his glorious flugelhorn sound, Veronika Harcsa and her moving Hungarian interpretation of ”Round Midnight’ and Mahan Mirarab’s mystical fretless guitar playing which makes Gurdjieff’s ‘Woman’s Dance’ the album’s emotional centrepiece. “This composition perfectly embodies the duality of our night: soulful mysticism and liberating dance.
